From the North/South:
Autostrada A14 exit Ancona north
Take SS 76 superhighway[direction Rome] and exit Jesi ovest.
Take SP 502[Cingoli] for approx 12 kilometres, past Staffolo and continue till the yellow agricultural machinery garage on right, then immediately right at small sign, Colognola, [on curve].

Follow road up till next sign, Colognola. Follow road up, through Colognola, continue up for approx 3 km, Montalbello, [no17] on right opposite white farmhouse.

Alternatively you can exit SS76 at junction 11, Apiro/Mergo and follow Apiro SP2 [13km] Continue through Apiro, down hill and follow Cupramontana
sign.Uphill 1.5 km untill you see signs on right [near bins] Colognola and Montalvello 0.8km. Go through tiny hamlet and down 300m, through trees, Montalbello B&B on left.

Via Cingoli, follow SP 26 to Apiro. At approach to Apiro[top of hill from lake], turn right, signed: "Bivio Staffolo/Cupra, up hill 2 km and look for sign on right,Montalvello 0.7 km as above.

From the west:
Superhighway Fabriano-Ancona, exit Apiro/Mergo
Junction11, then as above.
From Ancona/Falconara airport take SS76 superhighway as above.

Ryanair flights from Stansted daily and Liverpool
to Ancona/Falconara. Also hire cars available airport .
